Yes sir, I have something to say: If you stare at something , you look at it for a long time. For example: He stared at us in disbelief. She sat there quietly, starring out of the window.
If a situation or the answer to a problem is staring you in the face, it is very obvious although you may not be immediately aware of it. For example: The collapse of the UMNO political system is staring Sir Sazili in the face. Another example: You can fail to see the real answer even when it's staring you right in the face.
Uncomfortable? If you are uncomfortable, you are not physically relaxed, slightly worried, embarrased and feel slightly pain or discomfort. eg. It,s an uncomfortable stand-off because both UMNO and PAS have heavy weapons pointed at the other side.
